… Come, credo molti europei ideologicamente perplessi ho l’impressione che l’India sia un luogo ad alto tenore di Dio, una foresta che produce scimmie, pavoni e asceti; qui esistono ancora i Maestri, i Profeti, e quando si parla della Verità non si allude ad un caso giudiziario, ma alla verità totale, cosmica; ecco, l’India non sarà mica un paese cosmico?
Per noi che di cosmico non abbiamo più niente, eccetto un po’ di astrologia settimanale, potrebbe essere un trauma intollerabile. Non ci sarà mi dico vigliaccamente, un po’ troppo Assoluto in questo paese che gode del mistero degli enigmi? »
